The Andalusian People's Party (POP) highlights the Juanma Moreno government's drive for sustainable reindustrialization, with more than 35.000 industrial jobs created since 2019 and record exports. Spokesperson Julia Ibáñez highlights the commitment to strategic sectors and clean energy, urging the unblocking of investments in key electricity networks. Maribel Torregrosa emphasizes Andalusian support for the "Andalusian Way" of dialogue and moderation, which is transforming the region into a land of opportunity, and calls for institutional unity to continue advancing Andalusia's economic and social progress.

Julia Ibáñez, a member of the Andalusian People's Party (PP) and spokesperson for the Andalusian Parliament's Industry, Energy, and Mines Committee, has praised the "new industrial policy" being promoted by Juanma Moreno's government and asserted that "after 37 years of erratic industrial policy, Andalusia has changed today."

"The data confirms this. We have created more than 35.000 industrial jobs since 2019. Here in Almería, we have 22% more industrial employment, and, as you know, we have a record export turnover of 40.000 billion euros this year," he explained.

During a press conference in Almería alongside the spokesperson for the People's Party (PP) in Andalusia, Maribel Torregrosa, the PP deputy in the Andalusian parliament emphasized that these figures demonstrate that "Juanma Moreno's government is working hand in hand with the productive sectors, with dialogue, consensus, plans, and strategies." And also "with such important incentives as, for example, the CRECE Industry 2027 Plan, where €1.800 billion will already be allocated to strengthen our industrial sector with both the Andalusian Regional Government's own funds and European funds."

Ibáñez emphasized that "the Andalusian Executive is carrying out a significant process of sustainable industrialization throughout Andalusia. He also emphasized that in those provinces—Almería, Cádiz, and Córdoba—which will be affected by the closure of thermal power plants, extremely important opportunities are being developed and promoted in digitalization, advanced logistics, and the industrial sector, including all auxiliary industries, "with those key towns such as, for example, agriculture in Almería, stone in Córdoba, and the naval industry in Cádiz."

Sustainable industry, a bet full of opportunities

Likewise, Julia Ibáñez emphasized that Juanma Moreno's government "is also making a strong commitment to renewable energy production." "Andalusia does not want to, nor should it, miss out on opportunities like in past decades, taking advantage of our natural resources and potential," she stated, emphasizing that the Andalusian government "is going beyond the announcements made and the commitments made."

In this sense, he has valued that “today, 66% of all electricity produced in Andalusia now comes from clean sources.. Therefore, tremendous work is being done, demonstrating that Andalusia can and wants to be a leader in the production of renewable sources."

First of all, the popular parliamentarian has asked: “What is the Sánchez government doing in the meantime to match all of this effort by the Andalusian government in the industrial sector? Our penalizes ( chastises and ignores us with abandonment” in investments as important as those in electrical network infrastructures that correspond to us by population, territorial justice, natural resources, economic production and opportunities.

According to Ibáñez, "We clearly have a shortage in provinces such as the northern part of Córdoba, the eastern part of Granada, and the northern part of the province of Almería. It punishes us by turning its back on us with these tariffs, and it also punishes our industrial fabric, always to the detriment, as we all know, of other territories."

For this reason, the PP deputy of Andalusia in the Andalusian Parliament has raised the following question to the PSOE-A parliamentarians: “We give the Socialist Party and the Socialist deputies the opportunity next week in the Industry Commission to support an initiative of the Popular Party where we demand that the Sánchez Government urgently execute those committed investments., especially in those territories where the Government of Juanma Moreno is designing an effective policy to reactivate these industrial areas, such as Carboneras, in the province of Almería, Córdoba or in the province of Cádiz, where thermal power plants are going to be closed and are being closed."

"Neither Almería nor Andalusia can continue waiting for the Sánchez y Montero government to decide whether or not to call for the just transition hubs, which is nothing more than granting the right of access to the grid for extremely important industrial projects, extremely important clean energy projects that are underway in our province, that are underway in Andalusia, and that are waiting to have that right of access."

In short, it's about the government unblocking this competition, unblocking these just transition nodes "so that we can continue developing industry, clean energy, in which we firmly believe we have numerous opportunities, and, of course, the economy of our province and our community."

Andalusians reject Montero's mistreatment of Andalusia and continue to trust in the Andalusian Way of the People's Party and Juanma Moreno.

For its part, the spokesperson for the PP of Andalusia, Maribel Torregrosa, has stressed that “The PSOE-A has the opportunity to demonstrate whether it is finally with Andalusia and the Andalusians or, instead, it continues to be those Sánchez delegates who whitewash all grievances. "We don't want any more of Sánchez's sycophants," he warned. "We need Andalusians who defend our land and turn their backs on a government that is mistreating Andalusia so much."

In this sense, Torregrosa recalled that “No one has mistreated this land as much as María Jesús MonteroShe's proving it now, when she's taking away the 1.500 billion euros a year that belong to this land, the funding that she, as a minister, demanded in the Andalusian Parliament while leading Susana Díaz's government, but now, as minister, she's not allowing them to come to this land."

In his opinion, the fruit of this mistreatment and This constant grievance by Montero has been reflected in the first survey which has become known after his arrival at the general secretariat of the Andalusian PSOE.

A survey that, according to Torregrosa, reflects that “Andalusia, which The Andalusians do not forget and do not forgive Montero for all the harm she caused them, both as a counselor in the socialist governments and now as a minister. of the Spanish Government, where it is detrimental, turns its back on it by denying those 1.500 billion euros annually that come from the work and sacrifice of all Andalusians." So much so that, if regional elections were held today, Montero's PSOE would obtain the lowest results in its history in Andalusia.

Instead, Maribel Torregrosa emphasizes that “fIn the face of the noise, inequality and lies of Montero and Sánchez, Andalusians continue to support the policies of Juanma Moreno and the Popular Party."Andalusians support this approach, this Andalusian path of moderation, dialogue, and consensus that is transforming this land into a land of opportunity for all," he emphasized.

Along these lines, the spokesperson for the PP in Andalusia emphasized that "Andalusia is now the second-largest community with the lowest taxes under the common system. We are the fastest-growing community in all of Spain, and that is the result of these approachable, humble, and sensible policies, and of a government that is working hard to improve this land."

“There is still a long way to go. We are aware of this,” he acknowledged, “but only as a result of this moderation, this humility, and this serious and conscientious work for Andalusia will we be able to continue transforming this land.”
