• He affirms that the Andalusians need unity in this matter and not political anger
• Regrets that PSOE, Podemos and IU put their partisan interests before the interests of Andalusia
• Indicates that the PP will continue working to reach an agreement on regional financing
The spokesperson for the Popular Parliamentary Group, Carmen Crespo, regretted today that PSOE, Podemos and IU have presented a document signed by the three formations in an attempt to isolate the PP and Ciudadanos from the debate on regional financing, something that, as she has assured , “is an imposition and goes against the interests of the Andalusians”.
Crespo has affirmed that confrontation must be avoided, at the same time that he has criticized that PSOE, Podemos and IU have put their acronyms before the general interests of all Andalusians.
In this sense, he has stressed that consensus is good and necessary for Andalusia and has advocated the need to reach agreements on the issue of regional financing and put taxation aside.
The popular spokesperson has defended that the PP will always work to seek consensus and unity and has regretted that there are other political formations that use financing as a weapon of confrontation.
“The PP is going to fight to reach an agreement on financing. We want to achieve consensus on this matter and that isolations that are bad and detrimental to Andalusians do not occur ”, he added.
Finally, he referred to the statements by the Minister of Finance, María Jesús Montero, and stated that when the working group on financing reaches an understanding, "the slap on the wrist" will be for the system approved in 2009 with Rodríguez Shoemaker to the head.
