The general secretary of the Andalusian Popular Party, Loles López, has traveled to the Avanzado Command Post in the Huelva municipality of Almonaster la Real to "see and learn first-hand about the situation" caused by a fire that has been active since yesterday in the area.

López has transferred the gratitude of the popular Andalusians "to all the troops who are working tirelessly to stop this fire", a thank you that has also been extended to Matsa, who "has offered its facilities and all the means that have been needed for the command post and all the troops who are working here.”

It has also shown the solidarity of the Andalusian PP with the residents affected by said fire and offered the support of the training both to them and to the mayors of the municipalities that could be affected. ““ We hope that the families that have had to be evicted can return to their homes soon, but for now we have to be prudent because we have to see how the situation evolves ”, he pointed out.

López has also assessed that before situations that cannot be foreseen, "Andalusia is equipped with the necessary air and ground resources to be able to tackle the problem from the outset, as the Andalusian Government is doing at the moment."
