- The parliamentary spokesman announced in relation to the “FAFFE cronies” that the Popular Party will demand “all political responsibilities, from the general secretary of the PSOE-A to the last leader”
- The question is “how far Espadas' relations with Ábalos go” after Susana Díaz said on television that the Andalusian socialist leader “owes his seat to her”
The spokesperson for the Popular Party in the Parliament of Andalusia, Toni Martín, has contrasted the Government of Pedro Sánchez, “in absolute disarray and without the minimum support to push forward the minimum initiative in Parliament” and which is also “cornered by corruption”, with that of Juanma Moreno in Andalusia, whose Government of the Popular Party has announced that the Governing Council will approve the draft Budget Law of Andalusia for 2025 within two weeks, with which the accounts will foreseeably begin their parliamentary processing at the beginning of November.
The parliamentary spokesman for the Andalusian PP has praised in a press conference the “titanic effort” of the Ministry of Finance and European Funds to prepare the Andalusian accounts for the next financial year, “despite the 1.500 billion euros less that we have in Andalusia due to the financing system, to which we must also add the more than 6.000 billion that will be lost due to the Catalan quota”.
He also stressed that the Andalusian budget for next year will represent an "absolute commitment to achieving record figures" in health, education and social services, and to the protection of families and productive sectors.
In response, he criticised Sánchez's labour policy, which, in his opinion, has led to "weak and fragile job creation", as well as his "fiscal policy of raising taxes in a scenario of weak family economies", which are also facing "rampant inflation". He also referred to the work carried out in recent years by Juanma Moreno's Government to reduce the poverty rate in Andalusia by four points, which has dropped from 41,7% to 37,4%.
“The problem is with the PSOE and it is called corruption”
On the other hand, he has referred to different cases that affect the socialists and has stated that "the problem is with the PSOE, it is called corruption and it consists of taking the money, using it fraudulently", which is why he has considered that "it is embarrassing to try to compare the FAFFE, the Koldo case, Begoña, the bags of money, the ERE, with an administrative procedure that has been used excessively, but which is legal and transparent and of which the PSOE has been provided with up to 68 reports", in reference to the splitting of contracts in the Andalusian Health Service (SAS).
In this regard, Toni Martín has accused the socialists of “trying to make it seem like we are all equal”, but “in Andalusia we are not all equal”. “They –the socialists– were the protagonists of political corruption and the PP is the one that has come to banish it”, he stressed.
Specifically, he referred to those “connected” to the Andalusian Foundation for Training and Employment Fund (FAFFE) and assured that the PP will request, within the framework of the Commission of Inquiry created for this purpose, “all political responsibilities, from the general secretary to the last leader of the Andalusian PSOE” because “they have to explain why there are relatives and friends of socialist leaders forming part of the Andalusian Employment Service (and coming from the FAFFE) without having demonstrated the slightest professional training for it, but simply because they were relatives of these leaders”.
On the other hand, he has asked “how far the relations of Mr. Ábalos with Mr. Espadas go” after the current senator and former general secretary of the PSOE-A, Susana Díaz, said this Tuesday in a television program that Espadas became leader of the Andalusian socialists thanks to Ábalos. “She told him, you are sitting in that chair thanks to Ábalos and owing the chair to a gentleman is to ask questions in exchange for what he owes the chair and how far the relations of Mr. Ábalos with Mr. Espadas and with his team go”, the popular spokesman has pointed out.
