Andalusia (PP) - The Vice Secretary of Equality, Health, Youth and Social Welfare of the PP of Andalusia, Ana Mata, has reproached the PSOE today to present himself now as the standard-bearer of the social investment in Andalusia when he was able to hide in a drawer 34.400 dependency files and came to wasting more than 9,5 million euros from the program to combat gender violence, during his last years at the head of the Junta de Andalucía.

Mata has defended that "There has not been an Andalusian Government more committed to the most vulnerable people than the one chaired by Juanma Moreno”, as shown that, for example, throughout 2022 record numbers have been reached in benefits and beneficiaries of the dependency system, or that the number of dependent people who are waiting for their PIA (individual care program) has been reduced by 51% in the 2019-2022 period.

"The PSOE decided to hide 34.400 files and lie to the Andalusians, while the Government of Juanma Moreno has worked to reduce the waiting list that the socialists left us as a poisoned inheritance", he remarked, before reminding the PSOE that "it has a commitment with Andalusia to finance 50% of the dependency and the Government of Sánchez is still far from keeping its word and continues to punish to the Andalusians.

The social and dependency budget in Andalusia exceeds 1.700 million

In this sense, the Deputy Secretary for Equality, Health, Youth and Social Welfare has emphasized that the budget of the Social Services and Dependency Agency has exceeded 2022 million euros in 1.700, with an execution close to 95%. "Never before has such a volume of funds been managed," he added.

Similarly, Mata has underlined the "effort" of the Ministry of Social Inclusion, Youth, Families and Equality during 2022 to provide coverage to each of the programs and projects aimed at serving the most vulnerable Andalusians.

"All this -he added- with extended budgets and a social situation marked by the post-covid crisis and skyrocketing inflation that is suffocating many Andalusian families."

Andalusia executes the programs to fight against child poverty almost 100%

In this regard, Mata has pointed out that Programs such as the fight against child poverty "last year reached an execution level of almost 100%", while the resources from the European Social Fund "have been executed in 96%" and the concerted plan of Social Services in its entirety.

“To this must be added measures such as the 45% average increase in the Minimum Social Income of Andalusia (Rmisa), which have been created 2.583 new concerted places for the elderly and people with disabilities between 2019 and 2022 or the price of the home help service has increased by 18,1% after 13 frozen years”, he pointed out. In fact, he has highlighted that while the Government of Juanma Moreno has executed 100% of the Remisa, "the PSOE came to remain at a meager 28%."

Finally, Mata has stressed that the funds that the Socialists add as not executed in the 2022 financial year come from the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism (MRR) "whose term to execute, as the PSOE well know, extend some until the end of 2023 and others until 2026”.

“As much as the PSOE now presents itself as the standard-bearer of social investment in Andalusia, the truth is that it is no longer fooling anyone in Andalusia because it is the champion of losing funds or of allocating them to other purposes, as the ERE ruling has shown,” he concluded.https://youtu.be/E7ROusJscfw»]
