Carazo: "CS is an accomplice that in Andalusia there is first and second education"

• "CS has consented to stop investing 150 million euros in two years and the course begins with more than 200 centers with prefabricated classrooms"

• "After 13 years, bilingualism only reaches 25% of the centers and we would need 50 years for educational services to reach 100%"

• "Although last year 31.000 young people were left without a FP place, this course only a thousand new places are offered"

The spokesperson for Education of the Andalusian PP, marifran carazo, affirmed today in Granada that "Ciudadanos has maintained an attitude of complicity with the socialist government in educational matters and today is responsible for the fact that in the last two years they have stopped investing 150 million euros in educational infrastructures and that the school year begins with more than 200 centers with prefabricated classrooms”.

Carazo stated that "Cs was silent and silent despite having agreed on the budgets with the PSOE, he did not mind starting the course with investments that did not arrive, frustrating expectations and generating non-compliance with centers and families that had been promised investments."

He added that in the five years in which Susana Díaz has been president, 287 million euros have stopped investing in educational infrastructure.

The popular spokesperson assured that the socialist policies that CS has supported have caused Andalusia to have "first-class, second-class and third-class families and centers, there are children who have a decent educational center and others who study in centers that do not meet the conditions" . She affirmed that not only are the prefabricated classrooms that were committed not removed, but they are installed and "the government does not invest in many old centers that need urgent action."

Carazo also referred to "the eternal socialist promise of bilingualism" and noted that "despite having been implemented for 13 years, it does not even reach 25 percent of the centers." He explained that this course even fewer centers have been incorporated into bilingualism than the previous year, so that "it would take 40 years to reach one hundred percent at the pace of the socialist government."

In the same way, he pointed out that the educational services plan, which includes the morning classroom, the dining room and extracurricular activities, "takes 16 years and we would need another 50 to reach one hundred percent." He affirmed that they are services "essential for reconciliation" and denounced the "inequalities between families and municipalities, because there are entire towns without these services and there are families that have to register in another municipality because they need these services to be able to work."

VOCATIONAL TRAINING IN ANDALUSIA

The popular spokesperson also accused the PSOE and CS of generating inequalities due to the lack of Vocational Training offer and pointed out that although last year 31.000 young people were left without a place, this course only a thousand new places are offered. "The response of PSOE and Cs is a law that has not yet been approved with an insufficient number of places in the face of a demand that is increasing and that is essential to create jobs."

Carazo influenced the commitment of the PPA to "protect by law that all educational centers have the same offer and the same educational services to generate equal opportunities." Likewise, he reproached PSOE and CS that "we have wasted three years to reach an Educational Pact in which teachers and families are taken into account."

He affirmed that the Andalusian government has shown itself incapable of addressing changes to improve the management, direction and results of the educational system because "it has not listened to the educational community, it has governed alone and by force of decree, harming students, families and to the centers”. He gave as an example the "decree" of Early Childhood Education that "has been a cut with the complicity of CS and that has meant that families have to pay more."

The popular spokesperson criticized that the "only novelty of this course is the suppression of the coup and blow of the incorporation of French in primary school, which, according to the calendar, was going to complete this course."

He pointed out that it has been a "unilateral decision, without giving an explanation" and called for an evaluation of what this regression has meant economically and in results in just two years."

CONCERTED EDUCATION

Finally, Carazo demanded that the Andalusian government "say if it agrees with Sánchez's attack on concerted education" and assured that "nobody can take away from families the right to choose the education we want for our children, because it is our right protected by the Constitution”. He stated that concerted education "is part of the system, is supported by public funds and provides a very important educational service."
