- The Regulation allows the commissions to give voice to representatives of collectives
The spokesperson for Education of the Popular Group in the Parliament of Andalusia, marifran carazo, has denounced today the "veto" that PSOE and Cs have imposed on the representatives of Early Childhood Education teachers by preventing them from appearing in the Parliamentary Commission, as PADEI representatives had requested from the Popular Party, which transferred said request to the Table held last Wednesday.
The Regulations of the Chamber allow representatives of groups and associations to appear in the commissions and for these appearances to be added to the usual agenda, with the prior agreement of the Committee's Bureau.
"Chance has wanted the PSOE and Cs to have gagged the teachers of Early Childhood Education precisely on Teacher's Day," said Carazo. The meeting of the Board of the Education Commission, chaired by Ciudadanos and also made up of a deputy from the PSOE and another from the PP, made this controversial decision last Wednesday, "the same day that the Board launched a propaganda campaign to support teachers Andalusian".
"With this veto, it is clear that the support is false and only for the gallery," said the popular spokesperson.
Marifran Carazo explained that the representatives of PADEI "wanted to transmit first-hand, in the Commission and directly to all parliamentary groups, the difficulties that Early Childhood Education from 3 to 6 years old is going through in Andalusia, and the consequences that this situation is having for the collective of interim ”.
"These are problems that drag on from previous years, realities that the Board refuses to see," he added. Among these, he alluded to the non-compliance with the ratio, "which exceeds 25 students", to the lack of coverage for teacher leave, "which in this educational stage is especially serious", or to the fact that support teachers are the ones who They are handling the substitutions.
"The direct effect of this situation on the group is that the temporary pool is not running and, obviously, a decrease in the quality of education that children from 3 to 6 years old receive in Andalusian public centers, a stage that demands special attention. ”, he added.
Marifrán Carazo wondered "how afraid the PSOE and its partners in the Board are to listen to the daily reality of this group in parliamentary headquarters, which is the home of all Andalusians", while announcing that they will present a formal complaint in the Andalusian Parliament .
