The province of Huelva will take a step forward in the field of health research with the creation of a Clinical Research Unit, thanks to a investment of 3,6 million euros granted by the Carlos III Health Institute to the Andalusian Beturia Foundation for Health Research (FABIS). This new infrastructure will be located in the Juan Ramón Jiménez Hospital and will allow for improved equitable access to clinical trials and innovative treatments.
A key boost for health research in Huelva
The implementation of this unit It will represent an important advance for the development of clinical research in the province, providing Huelva with a first-class infrastructure. Thanks to this investment, clinical trials can be conducted more efficiently, which will benefit both patients and the scientific community.
The project was presented by the territorial health delegate, Manuela Caro; the managing director of the Juan Ramón Jiménez Hospital, Manuel García de la Vega; the director of FABIS, María Victoria Alonso; and the head of the hospital's cardiology department, Antonio Gómez Menchero, who is also the principal investigator for this initiative.
