• Miguel Ángel Ruiz defends this initiative that “gives prestige and dignity” to the work of teachers, as is already the case in other autonomous communities.
• Regrets that PSOE and Adelante "have not had the courage to support this initiative that responds to a historical demand of the collective in Andalusia"

The PP-A has carried out a Non-Ley Proposal (PNL) in Parliament to urge the Governing Council to recognize the public authority of teachers in Andalusia.

The popular parliamentarian Miguel Ángel Ruiz, who has defended NLP in the Education Commission, has assured that with this initiative "the work of teachers in our community is given prestige and dignity", as is already the case in other regions of Spain.

"With this NLP we have echoed what Andalusian teachers have been asking for for years," explained Ruiz, who in turn "deeply" regretted the abstention of PSOE and Adelante Andalucía, which "have not had the courage to support a initiative that responds to a historical demand of this group in our autonomous community”.
