The PP "will fight" with taxes, a measure copies the PSOE "works"

"We are not going to allow Sánchez to continue punishing the Andalusians, making our community now worse financed by the State than before"

    • "If Sánchez wanted to help citizens, he would lower taxes as the socialist Page has announced, but what he really wants is to prevent Andalusia from taking off with the Government of Juanma Moreno."
    • "We are not going to allow Sánchez to continue punishing the Andalusians, making our community now worse financed by the State than before."

The general secretary of the Andalusian PP, Antonio Repullo, has warned that his formation "will fight" with taxes because it is a measure that "works", whose results "are proven in our community, collecting more", and that is even copied by the PSOE, after the announcement of the President of Castilla-La Mancha, Emiliano García-Page, to lower taxes as well.

"If Sánchez wanted to help citizens, he would do the same thing he does Moreno Bonilla and the same thing that the socialist Page has announced, because the tax cut and the elimination of the wealth tax, as the countries of Europe have done, are measures that work”.

However, Repullo points out that what is hidden behind Sánchez's tax increase is "an attack on our fiscal autonomy to prevent the takeoff that Andalusia is experiencing with the reformist policy of Juanma Moreno."

Likewise, the general secretary has lamented the "cynicism" of the Sánchez government regarding the tax increases that, "in addition to putting a stick in the wheel to Andalusian progress", will not benefit the middle and working classes either, "but all otherwise".

Thus, he explained that "all citizens pay equally for the increase in prices that we are suffering due to the passivity of the Government of Spain, which is very far from social policy, because if what they really wanted is to help the middle classes and workers, what you would have to do is lower the personal income tax with effect from January. With the current system, "Sánchez prevents families that earn less than 40.000 euros a year from being returned what they have paid more due to inflation, which he has already supposed an extra collection of 27.000 million."

In the Board of Directors of the PP of Granada, Repullo has indicated that "we are going to fight with taxes as we have been doing with financing, because we cannot allow Sánchez to continue punishing the Andalusians by making our community worse off financed by the State than before", as highlighted by the recent report by Fedea, which reveals that "since Juanma Moreno came to the Board and raised his voice, Sánchez treats us Andalusians worse", currently having funding six points lower to the middle

In this regard, he explained that said report also records that "the differences have widened during the covid-19 pandemic because in the distribution of extraordinary funds regional GDP prevailed over population criteria, so that Andalusians receive the least resources per inhabitant with the Valencian Community and the Region of Murcia”.
“We are going to fight for the Andalusians and the people of Granada because they are our reason for being, and we are going to continue working for them, as in these tax cuts by the Andalusian Government that would leave 45,7 million euros in savings for the residents of Granada, and also demanding from the Government of Sánchez what is its responsibility, asking it to go from consigned budgets to making realities as necessary as that of the Rules Dam”.

GRENADA PP

For his part, the president of PP of Grenada, Francis Rodríguez, has highlighted "the good moment" in which the formation is in the province in view of the next municipal elections in May and has valued as 7 months from the elections "we have more than 150 candidates and we are working so that the residents of the 174 Granada municipalities find the Popular Party ballot in their polling stations”.

The presentation of the candidates will begin this week in the municipalities of Otura and Padul. "We have the best possible teams and I am proud that on this day we can present to the Provincial Board of Directors so many colleagues committed to their municipalities" at the same time that he has celebrated that the PP of Granada is going through its best moment .

A good moment that, he said, we have to thank for the good work that the President of the Junta de Andalucía, Juanma Moreno, “which has shown how it is possible to be at the side of the citizens with policies that really respond to the needs of society”. Among them, he highlighted the sixth tax cut by the Junta de Andalucía, which in Granada will have an impact of more than 45 million euros "that will remain in the pockets of the people of Granada." A model that has contrasted with "the house of troubles" into which Sánchez has turned La Moncloa with improvised measures that do not solve the problems of families.
