The general secretary of the Andalusian PP, Antonio Repullo, has warned that his formation "will fight" with taxes because it is a measure that "works", whose results "are proven in our community, collecting more", and that is even copied by the PSOE, after the announcement of the President of Castilla-La Mancha, Emiliano García-Page, to lower taxes as well.
"If Sánchez wanted to help citizens, he would do the same thing he does Moreno Bonilla and the same thing that the socialist Page has announced, because the tax cut and the elimination of the wealth tax, as the countries of Europe have done, are measures that work”.
However, Repullo points out that what is hidden behind Sánchez's tax increase is "an attack on our fiscal autonomy to prevent the takeoff that Andalusia is experiencing with the reformist policy of Juanma Moreno."
Likewise, the general secretary has lamented the "cynicism" of the Sánchez government regarding the tax increases that, "in addition to putting a stick in the wheel to Andalusian progress", will not benefit the middle and working classes either, "but all otherwise".
Thus, he explained that "all citizens pay equally for the increase in prices that we are suffering due to the passivity of the Government of Spain, which is very far from social policy, because if what they really wanted is to help the middle classes and workers, what you would have to do is lower the personal income tax with effect from January. With the current system, "Sánchez prevents families that earn less than 40.000 euros a year from being returned what they have paid more due to inflation, which he has already supposed an extra collection of 27.000 million."
In the Board of Directors of the PP of Granada, Repullo has indicated that "we are going to fight with taxes as we have been doing with financing, because we cannot allow Sánchez to continue punishing the Andalusians by making our community worse off financed by the State than before", as highlighted by the recent report by Fedea, which reveals that "since Juanma Moreno came to the Board and raised his voice, Sánchez treats us Andalusians worse", currently having funding six points lower to the middle
