The PP presents a NLP in the Parliament of Andalusia in favor of employment in Alestis

• Calls for the unanimous support of all groups against the application
of an ERE in Alestis and the increase and diversification of the workload
work
• Ana Mestre calls on the Government of Spain to take note of the
worker demands
• Ramón Herrera rejects the philosophy of termination of employment and
defends working to maintain jobs and lay the foundations
that allow guaranteeing the future of this strategic industry

The provincial president of the Popular Party of
Cádiz, Ana Mestre, the spokesperson for the Economy of the Parliamentary Group
Andalusian, Ramón Herrera, and the secretary general and regional deputy,
Bruno García, have presented a Proposition Not of Law that the PP has
taken to the Parliament of Andalusia and which will be debated next Thursday
of "support for workers in the aeronautical sector and defense of the
job maintenance”.
Ana Mestre has defended that the aeronautical industry "requires in these
moments of commitment and work of the different groups to
put pressure on the Government of Spain to achieve the needs that
are raising their workers and especially in the defense of the
Job positions"
In this regard, he pointed out that it is a strategic sector, with headquarters
and highly qualified workforce in the province, "for which we must
ensure to avoid the destruction of employment and above all so that it can
continue aspiring and being a benchmark in the Spanish industry and
international".
For this reason, the provincial president has insisted on rejecting, as
is raised in the initiative registered by the Popular Group, the
application of any ERTE in Alestis and has asked the Government of Spain
"take note of it." For Mestre, "the government has nothing but
make defending jobs especially when we talk about a
company owned by public funds and workers deserve to be
treated sensibly and coherently”.
The Economy spokesman, Ramón Herrera, explained that the Proposal No
of Law presented by the Popular Group arises from the claims and
proposals collected from Alestis workers with whom the PP has
held various meetings and demanded "unanimous support from the
Andalusian society in order to be able to defend more forcefully their employment and
future".
For this reason, it has shown its confidence that this initiative can count on
the unanimous support of all political groups and that "regardless
of who governs in the Junta de Andalucía and in the Government of Spain
we are able to defend some workers and a basic sector in
our industry”
Herrera has assured that the PP rebels against the possible application of
an ERTE is Alestis "because that would mean throwing in the towel and losing the
hope". "The situation is complex, but philosophy should not be the
of the extinction of employment but that we have to do everything possible
for the maintenance of the works and so that in the future we have
Workload"
Thus, in addition to the continuity of jobs through the
extension of the ERTES, the PP requests that the Government prepare, as already
has been made from the Junta de Andalucía itself, an Aerospace Plan that
In the medium and long term, it will serve to guarantee the viability and impulse of
this sector and in which an increase in sales should be considered.
workloads and diversification of activity towards the field
civil.
For Herrera "we cannot go to the queue of events, but
get ahead with a future plan for this industry. Work today
but also thinking about tomorrow and for that you have to keep the
employment now so that there can be employment and work in the future
