• Andalusia is the only autonomous community that has not paid this group the complementary social assistance approved by law in 2002.

The spokesperson for the PP in the Parliament of Andalusia, Carmen Crespo, and the spokesperson for Health, Catalina García, today registered a non-legal proposal that calls on the Andalusian government to settle the debt contracted with hemophilia patients for 16 years. Andalusia is the only autonomous community that has not paid this group the complementary social aid included in Law 14/2002 approved in the Congress of Deputies.

The PPA initiative demands that the Andalusian government enable an item in the 2018 Budget to pay 12.000 euros to each of the beneficiaries entitled to this aid and "end the situation of inequality" with respect to patients from other communities.

It also recalls that the Andalusian government undertook to implement this line of aid complementary to those existing at the state level and that it signed an agreement for this with the Government of Spain.

In addition, the non-legal proposal of the PPA calls for other socio-sanitary improvements to guarantee comprehensive care for these patients, and that it be provided under equal conditions in all Andalusian public hospitals.
