• Juanma Moreno met this Saturday in Sierra Nevada with the Association of Entrepreneurs

The president of the Andalusian PP, Juanma Moreno, raised this Saturday the need to approve a Sierra Nevada Master Plan that contributes to improving the management of the ski resort and increasing the number of jobs related to its exploitation.
Juanma Moreno, who met this morning with representatives of the Sierra Nevada Business Association, including its president, Enrique de la Higuera, and the Neighborhood Association, has assured that this plan will include an infrastructure improvement program sports, with the possibility of expanding the skiable areas.
In addition, it will consider measures to improve the management of the staff and of the resort itself "because there have been many problems that have affected the operation and image of the ski resort." Finally, he referred to the need to implement a communication plan to promote not only the station but the entire Sierra Nevada environment.
"I think there is a lot to be done, because in the management of Sierra Nevada there is a lot of room for improvement," said Juanma Moreno, who referred to the station as "one of the most important benchmarks in Andalusia, an element of great potential for the generation of wealth and employment and for the brand image of Andalusia”. "Our obligation is to pamper the Sierra Nevada ski resort," she stated.
Moreno has said that he is concerned about "the circumstances that slow down these potentialities, for example the negligent conservation by the Monachil City Council, which deteriorates the quality of the offer and prevents attracting a higher quality tourism."
"I am also concerned about the management of Cetursa and the Board in operational matters, such as the schedule of the lifts and the price of the ski passes, and it is necessary to improve tourism promotion," he said.
Juanma Moreno has assured that with Sierra Nevada "we have something that no one else in Spain has, it is the southernmost ski resort in Europe, and we have a lot to improve to make it the best resort in Spain and one of the best in Europe ”. “You have to invest more, do more things to create jobs, which is what we need in Andalusia”, she concluded.
