• The Popular Group will present amendments to the Budgets for 142 million to improve employment, access to housing and the provision of services to young people.
• The president of NNGG of Andalucía assures that "the 2018 Budgets condemn young people not to leave unemployment rates of 50% and to continue in the queue for emancipation"
• "Juanma Moreno is going to Brussels to fix the bad image of Andalusia that Susana Díaz is leaving wherever she goes", she said.
The president of New Generations of Andalusia. Kike Rodríguez, has assured this Sunday that Susana Díaz "is the main problem of Andalusian youth", a conviction that "has been confirmed with her Budget project for 2018". "These budgets are not what was expected or what meets the needs of young Andalusians, especially in terms of employment and housing," he said.
Rodríguez has assured that, "with this budget project, Susana Díaz is confirmed as the main problem of Andalusian youth and the greatest enemy of their opportunities." The budgets, she has pointed out, “are a cut and paste, with the same prescriptions in employment that have led us to a 50 percent youth unemployment rate; They are also phantom budgets in housing policies, which condemn Andalusian youth to continue in the queue for emancipation, and, furthermore, consolidate cuts in services and programs aimed at youth”.
The president of Nuevas Generaciones de Andalucía has announced that the Popular Group proposes a block of specific amendments that conforms as "a budget rescue plan for young people, with amendments for more than 142 million euros and three basic objectives: improve employability and entrepreneurship, facilitate access to housing and recover youth policies”. “In short, to improve the living conditions of young people”, he said.
In terms of employment, the amendments represent a total amount of 109 million euros, and include a reimbursable fund of 90 million for the promotion of youth entrepreneurship. With the aim of facilitating access to housing for rent or purchase, amendments are proposed for 22 million. And another 5 million euros would go to the rescue of services and programs, by increasing transfers to town halls, the recovery of aid for the construction of facilities and other aid to youth groups and young entrepreneurs.
In addition, the Popular Group advocates that the bonus for university enrollment be extended to students of the Uned and other affiliated centers.
Kike Rodríguez has affirmed that the more than three decades of socialism in Andalusia "are more than three decades of lost opportunities, and we want the lives of young people to begin to change." "We are concerned that Susana Díaz does not know how to manage, and the European Union has told her, it has told her that Andalusia is moving away from Europe's welfare standards because the Board does not make good use of European funds", he stated.
The president of Nuevas Generaciones de Andalucía has pointed out that "the consequences of this mismanagement are suffered by young Andalusians, as happened between 2016 and 2016, when a part of the European funds was blocked." “Today we know from the press that aid files are being investigated again, and that is why we tell Mrs. Díaz to take advantage of her trip to Brussels to explain why she does not make correct use of the funds. Its mismanagement is the reason that Andalusia does not advance and that Andalusians, especially young people, are left behind ”, she said.
Rodríguez has assured that, precisely for this reason, Juanma Moreno is going to Brussels on Tuesday, "to help undo the mess that the PSOE has gotten us into and to explain that in Andalusia they know how to do things well and that it is not the Andalusians but the government of Susana Díaz the one that does not take advantage of European funds”. "Juanma Moreno goes to Brussels to fix the bad image of Andalusia that Susana Díaz leaves wherever she goes", she concluded.
