• Juanma Moreno has asked the general secretary of the Andalusian PP to replace him in this important responsibility of directing the Popular Group in Parliament
• José Antonio Nieto, who led the candidacy for the province of Córdoba, will be the new spokesperson

The general secretary of the Andalusian PP, Loles López, will assume the Presidency of the Popular Parliamentary Group in the XI Legislature. This new responsibility of the general secretary of the Andalusian PP has been an express request of the regional president and president of the Junta de Andalucía, Juanma Moreno, who thus delegates to López Gabarro the important work of direction and coordination that he himself carried out in the Andalusian Parliament .

“I assume the challenge with the enthusiasm and responsibility that coordinating the group entails and achieving the necessary consensus through dialogue so that parliamentary work is fruitful for all Andalusians. In fact, this is the work that we as politicians intend to carry out and for which the citizens have given us their trust," says Loles López, who is very "grateful for the trust" that the president places in her from this moment on.

The group's Spokesperson will be the deputy José Antonio Nieto, who led the candidacy for the province of Córdoba in the regional elections of December 2.

José Antonio Nieto will occupy the Spokesperson of the Popular Parliamentary Group from tomorrow's plenary session 6 February at the start of the new session. Nieto, who has already been a regional deputy in the VIII and IX legislatures, has also held high responsibilities as mayor of Córdoba (2011-2015) and Secretary of State for Security (2016-2018).

López has shown her "thank you" to Nieto for accepting this new responsibility and has been convinced that "he will do a magnificent job as spokesman for the Parliamentary Group, because where he has had responsibilities he has shown great political stature."
