The Deputy Secretary for Municipal Policy and Rural Development of the Andalusian PP, Maribel Lozano, today assessed the measure approved by the Ministry of Finance to reduce the rice module for which farmers pay personal income tax, which goes from 0,37 to 0,32, 13,5, XNUMX percent less, which shows "the commitment of the Popular Party with the rice sector, so important in Andalusia."

The popular leader showed “the satisfaction of the Andalusian PP for this important tax reduction that affects so many Andalusian businessmen and farmers. They will be able to apply it next year and it will be maintained over time”.

Maribel Lozano recalled that this reduction in personal income tax will mean "an important respite" for this sector, one of the most important in Andalusian agriculture. "They will be able to apply it retroactively in this year's income statement, which they will present in 2018, and it is also a structural reduction, not temporary, that they will consolidate in the future."

For the popular leader, the role that the Ministry of Agriculture has had in achieving this reduction in rice modules has been "transcendental". "The minister is aware of the importance of the sector for the Andalusian economy and her sensitivity, and that of the Minister of Finance, have influenced it to be carried out."

The economic impact estimated by the Ministry of Agriculture will amount to 5 million euros as a reduction in the tax base.
