Marín, who held a meeting with business representatives from Huelva, gave as an example the PP mayors who already govern or have governed in the towns and cities of Andalusia. "We," he said, "are not coloured, neither red, blue nor green, we are people who know how to manage and are capable of moving the economy forward and helping the progress of Andalusia."
Pilar Marín, who was accompanied by the president of the Huelva PP, Manuel Andrés González; and by the former Minister of Employment, Fátima Báñez, conveyed to the merchants her commitment to "promote the trade of a lifetime as a source of employment and generator of life in streets and neighborhoods."
He presented 17 concrete and specific proposals for this sector within the set of 600 measures that are included in the electoral program of the PP for Huelva and stressed that "neighborhood stores and businesses in the streets of the center are essential for the heart of Huelva to beat strong again"
Among these measures to encourage trade, Pilar Marín highlighted the creation of a municipal registry of closed premises, "in order to favor and subsidize the rental of premises in commercial areas"; a plan to revitalize and promote traditional commerce, and the extension of local commerce hours on designated dates. In addition, she proposed to the sector discounts on the use of the urban bus and public parking lots "to make it easier for the people of Huelva to buy in their trusted businesses."
