The president of the Popular Party of Andalusia, Juanma Moreno, announced this Wednesday that the next legislature will approve a second massive tax cut in Andalusia that will touch "almost all tax figures". “Almost all of them will be linked to our productive system because we want to stimulate it and at the same time remove the tax burden from the middle and working classes. We must also reactivate the consumption of Andalusian families because that is how the businessmen transferred it to us, and also with all the sense in the world ”.
In Seville, in an act at the Confederation of Businessmen of Andalusia together with the president of this organization, Javier González de Lara, and the president of the Popular Party, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, Moreno recalled that the massive reduction in taxes launched by the Government of change in Andalusia has achieved that there are 280.000 new taxpayers in our land and that tax collection has increased by 1.000 million euros. "We have gone from being among the four communities in Spain where the most taxes were paid to being among the five that pay the least taxes."
The popular president has also defended the three regulatory simplification decrees approved by his Government, which add up to a total of 400 measures to simplify and improve regulation, in addition to a hundred streamlined regulations. He criticized that it has been appealed by the left, "something I don't understand," he said, and also highlighted the approval of the LIST. A new land law "that has unblocked the PGOU in hundreds of town halls and means goodbye to two decades of bureaucratic labyrinth that prevented the arrival of investment."
He insisted that "this is the mentality that administrations must have" because if an investor "has to wait two decades at the end, they go elsewhere."
To help Andalusian companies, Moreno also recalled that Andalusia was the first community to launch a line of guarantee guarantees, and that a total of 4.164 were granted for an amount of 118 million euros. This made it possible to maintain or create 17.512 jobs and more than 300 million euros of associated investments. Likewise, from the Government of the change, aid was also given to 55.456 companies for an amount of 252 million to maintain the employment of 176.795 workers who were in an ERTE.
Juanma Moreno also recalled his Government's strong commitment to self-employed workers, and that in the last two years 424 million in 211.000 aids have been mobilized, "a historic milestone never reached in Andalusia." In this way "we have created the seed of many companies", although many will not prosper as often happens, others will "and I already know of some stories that have not only provided their own employment but also generate it for third parties and over time they will be a small and medium-sized company”.
The creation of employment is another of the commitments of the Government of Moreno, and during this legislature it has achieved that "one of every four jobs created in Spain is in Andalusia, and in the last year more than 165.000 jobs have been created in Andalusia ”. The Andalusian president did not forget that of all the employment generated last year "105.100 are female jobs."
Moreno was also congratulated because, after knowing the export data for the first quarter of the year yesterday, "Andalusia surpassed its own record with close to 10.200 million and an annual growth of over 28%, which is four points more than the half).
The Gross Domestic Product is another of the indicators that shows that Andalusia is on the right track, given that it has also grown by 6,8% last year, “also four tenths above the national average”. Likewise, "the industrial production index grew in March more than double that at the national level and foreign investment in 2021 represented the best result in eleven years, with 965 million euros when before we captured the same foreign investment as Asturias".
Despite the good results, he acknowledged that there is still "turbulence" caused by the pandemic and inflation, as well as "a bad government in Spain." For this reason, he remarked that "I can make reforms in Andalusia, but I need the national government, which has very powerful instruments, to go along with those reforms that we are making in the communities to go further and faster." And that, he lamented, "unfortunately Spain is not happening."
For this reason, he recognized that everything is being done "with one hand tied behind our back" because "we are poorly financed." "We know that the new financing model is very difficult, but there are elements of compensation, because each day that passes there are four million euros of underfinancing that Andalusia has, and that per year is 1.000 million euros."
“I am very amused by that Andalusian headline that the socialist party has, because it crumples at the first change. When Rajoy governed, I voted in favor in the Parliament of Andalusia of the initiative of today's minister Montero that Andalusia had an imbalance of 4.000 million euros”, recalled Moreno. And he stressed: "The interests of Andalusia will always be above the interests of my party, and Alberto Núñez Feijóo knows perfectly well that my level of demand in terms of resources for Andalusia is going to be exactly the same as I have now with Sánchez" .
Facing the development of Andalusia, Moreno has also appealed to social dialogue, "something fundamental in societies", and he thanked and recognized "the social role of self-employed workers and businessmen". "There will not always be conflicts in the workplace, but once again I thank the president of the CEA for the effort he has made to manage those that did occur, because you have to be bold and intelligent and fix these problems through social dialogue."
Finally, he wanted to analyze the block of eight left-wing parties that "is an alphabet soup that has already lost me", and regretted that they have "said very clearly" that if they govern in Andalusia "the Inheritance and Donations tax will return and that they will raise taxes to compensate for public services.”
Thus, he said that right now "we are at a crossroads and that the options are to continue advancing or to go back", and with the Government of change "advance has been made with determination and firmness" while the opposite would be "to return to the starting square, but not to any starting square, but to the worst of the possible squares”.
