• He has highlighted the iron will of the Ministry of Public Works and the Government of the Nation to invest in Andalusia
• Indicates that this line will be a dynamic element for Andalusia and Spain
Moreno, who attended a meeting this afternoon with the Minister of Public Works, Íñigo de la Serna, and with members of the CEA, including its president, Javier González de Lara, described the meeting as positive, at the same time who has stressed that it is important for the advancement of Andalusia that there are contrasts of opinions and information between such an important organization that defends the interests of Andalusia such as the CEA and the Ministry of Public Works.
"These meetings must take place frequently and normally because as a result of the exchange of opinions some projects that the Government of the Nation has in progress in Andalusia can be improved."
Likewise, he wanted to thank the role played by the CEA because, as he said, "in the role of claim and proposal, we Andalusians win and we must reinforce that Andalusian civil society is strong and has its own voice."
Finally, he was excited because "within a horizon of just three years we are going to make the Algeciras-Bobadilla section a reality, which will be a dynamic element for Andalusia and Spain".
For his part, the Minister of Development, Íñigo de la Serna, has stated that the completion of the Algeciras-Bobadilla axis is an economic and political priority because the Andalusian coast depends on the improvement that is made and a social priority that will contribute to creating employment and wealth in the environment.
He has also stated that they are working on an investment that, as he has stressed, "would place us in the year 2020 with the completion of the platform and with the comprehensive renewal of the infrastructure and with the complete electrification of the line in the year 2021 and a total amount of about 450 million euros”.
