The president of the Andalusian PP, Juanma Moreno, has assured this Wednesday that the stability that Susana Díaz boasts of, "without good management and high-level politics, becomes stagnation." Juanma Moreno chaired this morning the meeting of the Parliamentary Group of the Andalusian PP, in which he pointed out that the budgets of the Junta de Andalucía for 2018 have been drawn up "without ambition, and they will be incapable of facing the challenges that Andalusia has posed ”.
Moreno has affirmed that the only novelty of these budgets "is the haste, which has undermined the consensus", and that they only respond to "the obstinacy of the PSOE in subordinating the general interest to its partisan strategy". He has congratulated the Popular Parliamentary Group for the work done, embodied in 640 partial amendments that "improve the letter and numbers of the budget." By rejecting them, "Mrs. Díaz highlights her problem of lack of dialogue, and her arrogance and contempt for any idea that comes from others."
These 640 amendments "have a face", said Juanma Moreno, who cited as examples the one that proposes the creation of an Action Plan for Drought (15 million euros), the one that proposes the implementation of an employability plan for women (70 million) or the increase of 25 million in the allocation for Early Childhood Care).
"If Mrs. Díaz says no to these amendments, she is saying no to social structuring, quality education, decent healthcare and job creation," said the president of the Andalusian PP.
“Some have gotten used to the fact that the PSOE is in charge in Andalusia, and they find themselves in a position of subordination. That will never happen in the Andalusian PP, because we are never going to be complicit in policies that are harmful to Andalusians", assured Juanma Moreno, who recalled that the Andalusian PP has been warning for a long time that "Andalusia is wrong financed”. "I voted against this financing model while Mr. Griñán and Mrs. Díaz applauded," she said.
For this reason, he has asked Díaz to "have fewer complaints and less confrontation, and be more effective in daily management", as well as to "start now to seek an agreement for a new financing system". “The PP cannot approve a new model with 137 seats in Congress. He has to approve it with whoever governs in the autonomous communities," said Moreno, who has also asked Díaz to "stop tricks and lies."
Finally, the president of the Andalusian PP has urged the Ciudadanos group to decide "if they want to be useful to the Andalusians or if they want to be useful to the PSOE" and has criticized their "subordinate attitude towards a party that even insults its leaders". "If Ciudadanos has decided that their role in Andalusia is to push the PSOE roller, they will have to explain themselves to their constituents," he said.
