The president of the Andalusian PP, Juanma Moreno, today showed his conviction at the meeting of the Council of Mayors, held in Marbella (Málaga), that the independentistas of Catalonia "must assume that they have already failed and that their path only leads to violating the coexistence".

Moreno has denounced the "unbearable" pressures on mayors, officials and the Security Forces "for doing their duty." "They should know," he said, "that they are not alone, that they have 40 million people behind them and all Andalusians."

The leader of the Andalusian PP stressed the support for the Government of Spain, which acts "in proportion, with intelligence, calmly, but with great firmness and with all the rule of law."

Juanma Moreno took the opportunity to recognize, "with equal gratitude" the work that the State Security Forces and Bodies, officials, institutions, journalists and our colleagues from the Popular Party of Catalonia are doing these days.
