The deputy secretary of Productive Sectors of the Andalusian PP, Pablo Venzal, has assured this Tuesday that the Andalusian PP "is the only party that fights against corruption in Andalusia, while the others put themselves in profile", and has cited as a demonstration the 150 cases of corruption in the Junta de Andalucía in which the party is represented in the courts.
“The Andalusian PP is always vigilant against corruption, we are the party that has put black on white the corruption of the Junta in Parliament, in the institutions and in the courts. And where we have governed we have made major reforms to persecute it, from the reform of the Penal Code to the Transparency Law, the statute of high office or the legislation regarding the financing of parties ”, he said.
Venzal recalled that, faced with this, "the PSOE has been in charge of making the work of Justice difficult by sending the documentation repeatedly required by the judges late, wrongly and never, not providing the means to the courts or, even, exerting pressure about them".
The deputy secretary of Andalusian PP He has also referred to “others who, like Ciudadanos, have supported the socialist government, have put themselves in profile and have had different measuring sticks depending on what the electoral calculator indicated for them.”
“You can't tell us that we don't fight against corruption. Since the Mercasevilla case we have denounced and we have appeared in more than 150 legal proceedings against the illegal criminal proceeding of the Board, 150 corruption proceedings for embezzlement, bribery, document falsification or misappropriation ”, he assured.
Pablo Venzal He stated that "what cannot be is for a judge to say that she has received pressure from an autonomous president and that she has not given any explanations", and he recalled that the Andalusian Popular Group has requested that the Andalusian government appear in plenary session and in the Parliament's Justice Committee "to give explanations, because the only thing it has done so far is an evasion strategy and smoke screens."
“We are the ones who have done the most so that the ERE case is clarified and so that Judge Alaya concludes the investigation, but we must be respectful of the decisions of the CGPJ, we do not interfere in the decisions of the governing body of the judges because we defend the independence of the judiciary", assured Venzal, who stressed that "the PSOE has not accused in this case, and the PP, yes". "You cannot put both parties in the same bag," he said.
Pablo Venzal has cited, among the 150 cases in which the Andalusian PP has appeared, the training courses, the ERE, the FAFFE, Invercaria, Idea, Santana, Competitive Bay and the false invoices of Cádiz, among others. [Full list attached]
