In this article we offer you a list of Pedro Sánchez's grievances with Andalusia and with Andalusian municipalities with more than 50.000 inhabitants.

Who is Pedro Sánchez
Pedro Sánchez is the General Secretary of the PSOE, born in Madrid in 1972, he has a degree in Economics and a doctor in Political Science. In 2014, he was elected general secretary of the PSOE and candidate for the Presidency of the Government, but was unable to form a government. In 2017, he was again elected general secretary of the PSOE. He became president of the Government in June 2018 after a motion of no confidence against Mariano Rajoy.
After the 2019 general elections, Sánchez was sworn in as Prime Minister, forming a coalition with Podemos. In the 2023 general elections, which were anticipated by Pedro Sánchez himself, the PSOE lost to the Popular Party, lowering its results compared to the previous ones.

Antonio Repullo explains Pedro Sánchez's grievances with Andalusia
Andalusia needs a president like Alberto Núñez Feijóo who believes in Andalusia, who understands Andalusia and values Andalusia. And that he does not put stones in the way as Pedro Sánchez has been doing since we started the Government of change and transformation of Andalusia.
A president who has not bet on having a real autonomous financing for Andalusia, according to the inhabitants that it has and the extension that Andalusia has. A president that the investments that Andalusia has to bring, first are minimal, they do not correspond to reality, but also when we analyze the level of execution of these investments we find that they are at 40%. Very far from the 500% that are in Catalonia or the 22.000% in communities like Navarra.
That is the bet that Pedro Sánchez makes for Andalusia and that is not what we want for Andalusia. There are many negative criteria that are applied by the Government of Spain to Andalusia. Like that headquarters of the artificial agency that they have not wanted to be in Granada or that Bajo Segura transfer that prevents evolution and economic development in a sector as important as agriculture and livestock. Wave waterworks, so necessary for thousands of families in Andalusia who depend on a strategic sector, such as agriculture, livestock and who need water for their farms and which are absolutely necessary.
PROVINCE OF ALMERIA
Almería
LACK OF RAILWAY IMPROVEMENTS
Almería is practically an island from the point of view of communications, this being one of the main demands of the people of Almeria, both from the economic sectors (it is not in vain that we are at the forefront in contribution to the Andalusian GDP thanks to the agri-food activity of the crop under plastic) and civil society.
In this sense, the commitment of the PP government, with Iñigo de la Serna as Minister of Public Works, was for the AVE to arrive in 2023 (April 2017), date that the socialists unilaterally delayed to 2026 (Ábalos, March 2021). The levels of budgetary execution of this work, in all the previous years, force us to think that this date will not be met, once again, on which the execution of the works of the second phase of railway integration has been projected.
In terms of railway infrastructure, it is evident the isolation of Almeria which, with the capital of Spain, has insufficient frequencies (reduced with the pandemic and today not fully recovered), obsolete machinery that causes continuous delays and uncompetitive prices.
The Granada railway gauge changer, the intermediate solution to improve train connections between Almería, Granada and Madrid, which should have been in operation since the second half of 2020 still not working.
In addition, and expressed in a manifesto signed by the municipalities of Granada-Guadix-Almería, we claim the Mediterranean Litoral Corridor as a priority, demanding the start-up of the works to ensure that the Almería-Granada line is adapted to European standards and united through High Speed, allowing direct connection between Andalusia and the Spanish Levante.
Related to the railway is its station. On several occasions the Almería City Council has expressed the wish and claim that at the end of its rehabilitation, the OLD RAILWAY STATION could be ceded to the city of Almería for its enhancement as a cultural resource. Assignment commitment announced in 2017 by the then Minister of Public Works, Íñigo de la Serna An assignment that has not materialized and that, after the last meetings held with ADIF, has remained on stand-by, the railway administrator arguing for its use , by ADIF staff, on the occasion and during the execution of the works of the second phase of railway integration (underground).
The third and last phase of rehabilitation of the station remains pending, still not specified.
LACK OF INVESTMENT AND IMPROVEMENTS IN ROADS
We have defended and thus the Highway Unit of MITMA (Ministry of Mobility, Transport and Urban Agenda) has been transferred an ambitious and necessary solution to the DIRECT CONNECTION FROM THE A7 HIGHWAY TO THE PORT, urging the Government to draft the road access project to the port area that has been agreed upon.
The objective of this infrastructure is twofold: on the one hand, greater efficiency in the management of port activity, and, on the other, freeing the city itself from the easements of port activity, improving traffic flow and reducing pollution. acoustic and environmental The Port Authority has offered to advance funds and commission that project, pending its bidding.
In terms of highways, the Government of Pedro Sánchez has been demanded promote and execute the THIRD LANE OF THE A-7 between Roquetas de Mar and Almería, a vital infrastructure for decongesting a highway that condenses a large number of vehicles daily, and especially in this section, a situation that has been aggravated by the closure, on several occasions in recent years, of the Cañarete highway (formerly No. 340).
LACK OF INVESTMENT ON THE COAST
After the last expansion of the PASEO MARÍTIMO (the city council was in charge of the expropriation of the land and the Government of the work) its CONNECTION WITH THE PASEO DE LA RIBERA, which connects with the University, remains pending. Right now the General Directorate of Coasts is drafting the project and the City Council's claim is that they execute it as soon as possible (they want to face it with European funds).
On the other hand, the need to act in the CONDITIONING OF EL TOYO BEACH, where the most important residential tourist development in the capital is located, at the gates of the Cabo de Gata Natural Park, is another of the demands forgotten by the Government.
A claim that stems from the neighborhood petition and from business sectors that has thus been transferred by the Almería City Council, on repeated occasions, to the General Directorate of Coasts. A situation aggravated by storms, making it difficult to use the beach as a bathing area.
In June 2016, the then Government delegate in Andalusia Carmen Crespo (PP) and the former mayor of Almería, and current senator, Luis Rogelio Rodríguez-Comendador, presented a study with five alternatives for El Toyo beach, whose main The problem lies in the difficulty of access for bathers once in the water against the rocky bottom of the beach. The options then went through the construction from breakwaters to walkways.
The current government is reassessing possible solutions.
El Ejido
EROSION ON OUR COAST
Regression of sections of our coastline and delays in structural solution.
DESALINATION
delays in the Expansion of the devastating field of Dalías. The Campo de Dalías desalination plant is considered one of the largest in Europe. It was built thanks to the efforts of the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment through Acuamed, during the stage of the Government of the Popular Party of Mariano Rajoy and began operating in 2015.
This large-capacity desalination plant's main objective is to supply water to the population and provide agricultural irrigation for intensive agricultural crops in Campo de Dalías. With an annual production of 30 hm3, it carries out a series of processes to achieve its objective. These include the collection of seawater, a pre-treatment through a double-stage filtration system, the reverse osmosis process, a post-treatment, as well as the pumping, storage and distribution of the treated water.
LINKS TO THE A-7 HIGHWAY
Delays in links of the highway (309 and 311) A-7 with traffic saturation
LACK OF EFFECTIVES OF THE CIVIL GUARD AND NATIONAL POLICE
Catalogs of unfilled jobs and the need to expand. Not very effective, something that the central government admits publicly and in writing, specifically there are 111 fewer police officers.
INFRASTRUCTURES TO RESOLVE THE WATER DEFICIT
Need to undertake investments to alleviate the water deficit. Last November, the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Water and Rural Development, Carmen Crespo, emphasized that the Junta "is betting on all the hydraulic works of the future and of the present but we do not have the help of the Government of Spain in a difficult drought situation. But she also claimed the State hydraulic investments that are currently lacking in this Autonomous Community, especially for Almeria in reference to the projects of state competition related to the desalination plants.
Roquetas de Mar
BREACH OF SAFETY PROTOCOL IN ROQUETAS DE MAR
After the signing of the protocol by the Rajoy government for the transfer to decent facilities provided free of charge by the Roquetas de Mar City Council for the Civil Guard, the arrival of Pedro Sánchez meant the paralysis of this agreement signed in 2018 by Minister Zoido.
It should be noted that in the recent municipal electoral campaign, Minister Marlasca, in an act of the PSOE, sold to great fanfare the transfer of the Civil Guard to another municipality adjacent to Roquetas de Mar, announcing a National Police Station in the municipality as they did 15 years and they didn't meet. After the parliamentary question by the national deputies for Almería, we have proof that there is no budget item nor does it appear in the infrastructure plan for State security 2019-2025 of the Ministry of the Interior.
STOP OF THE PROJECT FOR THE THIRD LANE OF THE A7 BETWEEN ROQUETAS DE MAR AND THE CAPITAL OF ALMERÍA
This is the section with the highest traffic density in the province of Almería. The project was tendered in October 2017 with the Government of Rajoy, six years later it still has not started.
LINKS OF THE A7 WITH ROQUETAS DE MAR
The projects for the remodeling of the Roquetas de Mar link with the A7 motorway Initiated by the PP Government in 2018, they are also paralyzed with the consequent problem of access and influx of wheeled vehicles to the second city with the largest population in Almería and the first tourist city with 90% of the hotel beds in the province.
ELEVATION OF THE CATEGORY OF JUDGES TO MAGISTRATES IN THE COURTS OF ROQUETAS DE MAR
The General Council of the Judiciary authorized it in 2019. A few weeks ago the Ministry of Justice began the procedures but the delay of these 4 years has prevented this elevation from being carried out, with the consequence of traffic jams in the justice system in Roquetas de Mar (city that has tripled its population in the last 15 years).
ROQUETAS DE MAR WATER TREATMENT EXPANSION
Since the construction of the Roquetas de Mar water treatment plant which serves neighboring municipalities, it was known to be small. Roquetas de Mar has grown by more than 100.000 inhabitants and for years we have demanded from the Government the urgent need to expand this infrastructure to avoid breakages and discharges into the sea, with the consequent environmental damage and the bad image of the City. Thanks to the Government of Juanma Moreno, which imposed an agreement with the Ministry, it will be possible for this very important expansion and improvement action.
PROVINCE OF CADIZ
Algeciras
GIBRALTAR FIELD PLAN
Breach of what was agreed in the Council of Ministers.
INVESTMENTS IN THE RAILWAY LINE ALGECIRAS – BOBADILLA
Despite being in the budget, they have not invested in railway infrastructure, they have not yet been modernized and the trains are the oldest in Spain, with the damage that this entails for both passengers and goods.
IMPROVEMENT OF THE N-340 ALGECIRAS- TARIFA – VEJER
The only section of the highway from Cádiz to Barcelona that is missing is this one from ALGECIRAS, Tarifa, Vejer.
NORTH ACCESS TO ALGECIRAS
Improvement of access to the entrance road to ALGECIRAS.
CAMPO DE GIBRALTAR VARIANT
An action with minimal amounts in the budgets of recent years that would help the development of our city and the neighboring Campo de Gibraltar.
Cadiz
CADIZ WALLS REHABILITATION
Since 2018 the rehabilitation project of the maritime wall of Cádiz that the Government of the PP left prepared and budgeted for more than 6 million euros in various phases (even the first reform works were left executed). After years of many unfulfilled promises, a specific action for 800 euros did not begin until a few months ago. This work is clearly insufficient, also taking into account that the initial project planned by the Government of the PP has fallen short since in these six years the damages have worsened significantly.
RAILWAY CONNECTIONS CADIZ-MADRID
The city suffers from the cutback and increasingly serious deficiencies of the rail connections between Cádiz and Madrid, with which the Government is vetoing rail connections in a province in which the train is of great importance from the tourist point of view.
The direct train schedule established by RENFE between Madrid and Cádiz is three trains a day, half of what there was before the pandemic and is similar to what there was ten years ago in 2009.
This progressive cut in trains is further aggravated this year since in the plans to reinforce the holiday season (last Easter and this summer) the number of direct trains will not be increased as it is done in other provinces. The only RENFE measure is to offer seats with transfers in Seville that extend the journey time by 40%, with the added difficulty of not being able to find tickets for these trips.
In addition, there are continuous delays, incidents and breakdowns.
SAN SEBASTIAN CASTLE
It is a historical fortification declared BIC property of the State that is abandoned and without the Government assuming responsibility for its rehabilitation.
For years the use of the building was ceded to the City Council, more than 15 million were invested in it in works by different administrations, and it was given various uses. However, since 2015 rehabilitation has been paralyzed, the state of conservation is getting worse and worse and it has been closed to the public for years.
The State, owner of the property, refuses to provide funds to save the castle, alleging that it is the City Council that must do so despite not being a building owned by it. Also, from the different Ministries they do not recognize the property claiming from the Coasts that they cannot do each because the Castle is no longer part of the Maritime Terrestrial Public Domain and therefore depends on State Heritage and this does not finish receiving it.
CNP PROVINCIAL POLICE STATION
The Government of Pedro Sánchez has ruled out the construction of a new CNP Provincial Police Station in the planned city of Cádiz. The City Council and the Ministry of the Interior had agreed on the project and agreed on the land on which the new equipment was going to be built. The current Ministry of the Interior does not consider it "neither urgent nor a priority" there have even been rumors that the intention is to transfer the headquarters of the Provincial Police Station to the municipality of Puerto Real.
CADIZ PROVINCIAL MUSEUM EXTENSION
The expansion of the Provincial Museum of Cádiz has not been carried out.
Chiclana de la Frontera
DELAY IN TRES CAMINOS KNOT WORKS
After so many years waiting for these works, the tender was put out in September 2022 and they have barely advanced, causing continuous traffic delays, which are aggravated in the summer season.
NEW CIVIL GUARD HEADQUARTERS
In March 2023, Minister Grande Marlaska presented the basic project for the new Civil Guard headquarters in Chiclana, included in the State Infrastructure and Security Plan 2019-2025, and a tender is expected at the end of this year. Planned investment: 6,3 million euros.
THE WEST ROUND
It is a road that the PSOE government has been promising in Chiclana for at least 20 years, and that has never been advanced, because the mayor's Urban Planning Plan has been struck down 4 times by the Courts. They are currently finalizing the Advance Urban Planning Plan (POU). It is a fundamental way to improve access to the coastal area of our city.
DIRECT ACCESS TO PELAGATOS BY HIGHWAY A48
Entrepreneurs have long been requesting direct access to the Pelagatos Industrial Estate from the A48 motorway. In 2015, the Demarcation of Highways sent the City Council an unfavorable report on the project, it was a setback for the Chiclana Business Association, and they continue to claim it today.
Jerez de la Frontera
STATE'S GENERAL BUDGETS
The PGE 2023 allocate 0 euros to Jerez. First time it happens. In previous years, the amount assigned to Jerez by the Pedro Sánchez Government to Jerez has not reached one million euros.
NEW PROJECT
The Government of Pedro Sánchez has not started any new project. The ones he is running were already there and he hasn't been able to finish them.
UNSAFETY
With the current government and with the current Minister of the Interior (number 1 for Cádiz) crime in Jerez has increased by 22%. The Police Station needs to increase its category to increase the catalog of jobs and increase the workforce.
EMPLOYMENT
Jerez is the fourth city in Spain with the most unemployment. The Government hides some 4.000 intermittent permanent unemployed from Jerez. No government project in this regard.
BREACHES
The Government refuses the necessary extension of the airport runway, it has reduced trains connecting Jerez with Madrid, it has not completed works for the High Speed to arrive, it has not built a single one of the 3 pending stops (they are drafting a project for 1) , without district police station in the center.
The Line of the Conception
PROBLEMATIC BY THE BREXIT
No specific solutions are presented for the city to the problem of Brexit, with La Línea de la Concepción being the most affected by the departure of the United Kingdom from the European Union, we currently have more than 10.000 cross-border workers who are economically dependent on Gibraltar, These workers feel unprotected by the Government of Spain in terms of pension rights, medical assistance, unemployment
GENERAL BUDGETS OF THE STATE 0 FOR THE LINE
According to Minister Marlaska, the execution of the National Police station where the land for his execution has already been ceded should be contemplated, but... it never came.
PONIENTE MARITIME PROMENADE
We have spent more than 14 months to carry out a work to fix the boardwalks of the promenade caused by a great storm in April 2022, the works have not been completed, which negatively influences tourism and the image of the city
San Fernando
NO ACCESS TO THE FADRICAS ESTATE FROM CA 33
Pedro Sánchez has eliminated the budget item destined to build a new and necessary road access to the Fadricas Industrial Estate from the CA-33.
KILOMETER OF BEACH CLOSED TO CITIZENS
Despite the commitment made, the Sánchez government has not released the kilometer of Camposoto beach that continues to be affected by the firing range of the Army.
ABANDONMENT OF OUTSIDE TURNS
The "outside loops" are defenses created by man to prevent the action of the tides in inhabited areas close to the coast. These are located in the DPMT area and, therefore, must be maintained by the State. This issue has been ignored by the Sánchez government despite repeated complaints from residents.
UNEQUAL ECONOMIC TREATMENT
San Fernando is an island with a very geographically constrained municipal area and which, in addition, assumes easements of the Bahía de Cádiz NP and the Ministry of Defense. While the Sánchez government has financially compensated other towns in the province for their military effects, it has ignored San Fernando despite its special characteristics.
NON-REHABILITATION OF THE SUAZO BRIDGE
El Suazo Bridge, a historical monument that marked the limit of free Spain during the War of Independence, has been waiting for its rehabilitation under the (then) 1% Cultural since 2008.
PROVINCE OF CORDOBA
Córdoba
WEST VARIANT
Investment absolutely necessary to ensure connections with the A4 motorway.
DENIAL OF SUBSIDIES FROM NEXT GENERATION FUNDS CONSTRUCTION OF CAR PARKS IN THE CITY
To improve the mobility of the city, subsidies from the Next Generation funds were requested for the construction of three car parks in the city and were denied.
METRO TRAIN STOP IN JOYERO PARK
The new convention, fair and exhibition center of Córdoba, built by the city council, is located in Parque Joyero. It is absolutely vital to ensure the feasibility and accessibility and mobility towards this infrastructure, the construction of a stop on the already existing subway train or commuter train Exit A-4 towards the Las Quemadas estate The Las Quemadas estate is located next to the A-4 motorway and is isolated from direct access to it, because it does not have an absolutely necessary exit.
EXIT A-4 TOWARDS THE BURNED ESTATE
The poligono de las quemadas is located next to the A-4 motorway and is isolated from direct access to it, since it does not have an absolutely necessary exit.
NON-OPERATING CÓRDOBA AIRPORT
Investments and a marketing plan are needed so that the Córdoba airport, already built, is an operational infrastructure, from which commercial flights can operate.
CENTRAL BRANCH MEDITERRANEAN CORRIDOR
Algeciras to Zaragoza railway highway.
PROVINCE OF GRANADA
Granada
AESIA
It has been shown that the election process for the headquarters of the Spanish Agency for the Supervision of Artificial Intelligence has been unfair and arbitrary.
For this reason, in accordance with the decision of the Government of the Junta de Andalucía, We urge the Government of Spain to rectify its decision on the appointment (finally granted to A Coruña) and a new process is called to choose the future headquarters of the agency, guaranteeing competitive competition and strict compliance with the regulations in this regard.
This has also been expressed by Marifrán Carazo during the electoral campaign, advocating the suspension of the agreement of the Council of Ministers by which La Coruña was assigned the headquarters of the Spanish Agency for the Supervision of Artificial Intelligence (AESIA), and requesting the restart of this designation from the beginning:
UNDERGROUND AVE ROADS
It is an old claim for which the Sánchez government has done absolutely nothing and neither has the provincial PSOE. The Ave divides the city in two in the neighborhood of La Chana and La Rosaleda. We ask the Government of Spain, as in other provinces, to support the burying of high-speed rail as it passes through Granada. Our bet is clear, in fact, Marifrán Carazo has presented a proposal in the electoral campaign, although the decision will depend on the competent ministry
The president of the Junta de Andalucía, Juanma Moreno, has also shown his willingness to close this scar, for which the institutional collaboration between the three administrations, state, regional and local, is essential.
GRANADA-MOTRIL TRAIN
The port of Motril is the only dock of General Interest in the State that does not have a rail connection with the capital. The commitment of the Junta de Andalucía with this connection has been firm from the beginning against the Government of Sánchez, which has been changing its position as the date of the elections approached. We need the Government to commit to a determined, firm and investing commitment.
CONNECTIONS by train or plane with the rest of Spain
One of the great shortcomings of Granada are the connections by train or plane with the rest of Spain. It is in great demand not only by Grenadians, but also by those responsible for the business and tourism sectors, which form a large part of the base of the Grenadian economy. We demand more and better rail connections with Madrid, as well as with other Andalusian capitals such as Malaga and Seville, and the need to revitalize the Granada airport in terms of the number of flights and with competitive schedules.
MEDITERRANEAN CORRIDOR
We are facing a vital infrastructure for the future and the competitiveness of the province as a whole. We ask the Government to specify and define the Almería-Granada section that cannot also be left off the hook in this project. It has been a constant vindication of Marifrán Carazo as counselor, who has reiterated as a candidate for Mayor of Granada, demanding rigorous planning of the Mediterranean Corridor as it passes through the province of Granada, because it affects the development of the city's logistics area .
Motril
RULES DRIVES
Paralysis in the drafting of projects and lack of financing
CONSTRUCTION DEFENSES OF OUR BEACHES
Our beaches run out of sand due to storms and we are waiting for the construction of breakwaters.

PROVINCE OF JAEN
Jaén
CADIMO RAFT
The Cadimo pond is a water storage infrastructure that has been completed, but has not been put into operation due to deficiencies in the construction, apparently of an electrical nature.
Its implementation is urgent, since it could strengthen the surface of the irrigated olive grove of up to 15.000 hectares.
With a storage capacity of up to 7,5 hm3 of water, it is located in the municipality of Jaén, next to the Guadalbullón river. The works began in 2008 and ended in 2018, without it having entered service.
NEW NATIONAL POLICE STATION
In 2018, the central government announced the budget to build a new National Police station in Jaén (€6M).
A project that fell asleep until 2022, when the Somuvisa Board of Directors formalized the archaeological intervention on the Bulevar lot that the City Council ceded for this purpose.
Now, in March 2023, the General Directorate of the Police has given the go-ahead for the construction and they announce that the works will begin in 2024.
HIGH SPEED AND UNDERGROUND TRACKS
In 2008, the Minister of Public Works, José Blanco, visited Jaén to present the Plan Jaén Siglo XXI (or Activa) for the integration of the Madrid-Jaén High-Speed line in Jaén, with a budget of €69 million.
To do this, part of the track was going to be doubled and 750 meters of rails buried. Everything would end in a new intermodal station.
In 2008, the mayoress of Jaén, Carmen Peñalver, announced that there were 27 interested companies.
HIGH PERFORMANCE LINE TO MADRID
Pedro Sánchez still does not fulfill the wish to reduce the time between Jaén and Madrid. The works were carried out at a snail's pace between Jaén and Las Infantas and nothing is known from Mengíbar to Linares Baeza.
RAILWAY LINK BETWEEN JAEN AND GRANADA
Jaén and Granada, despite being neighboring provinces, are incommunicado by rail.
Now, the Promotion Commission of the Parliament of Andalusia has approved a PNL to carry out the informative study to establish a future railway connection between Córdoba, Jaén and Granada.
BETTER COMMUNICATIONS WITH MADRID
Jaén is the most isolated province by rail. There is only one paralyzed High Speed project that links the capital of the Holy Kingdom to Madrid.
It highlights what happens with the AVE that goes from Madrid to Granada, which "dodges Jaén". The normal thing would be to go in a straight line between the two cities, and Jaén is passing through. However, this AVE surrounds the province of Jaén and goes to Córdoba.
DEFICIT NATIONAL POLICE AND CIVIL GUARD
The PN and GC templates are still insufficient. The residents of Jaén constantly demand more agents on the streets, which would provide better service and greater security.
The police unions also say that the staff have many unfilled positions, something that affects both the quality of the services and the relations of the officials themselves.
IBERIAN MUSEUM
We are still waiting for the central government to hand over the pieces for the Museo Íbero de Jaén. This space depends on the national collections that the Ministry committed to finish filling this unique Museum in Spain with content, a bastion of the Iberian civilization.
Linares
ITI SCAM IN LINARES
Promise of the ITI in Linares. The Sánchez government had to put more than €200 million and it did not put it, the Junta did put its part. Sánchez considered that he had put it in another way.
TRAINS
Non-compliance with railway investments to communicate and shorten travel times with Madrid and the rest of Spain.
EMPLOYMENT
He promised an Employment Plan for Linares when he was not yet Prime Minister and he never did.
SHOOTING TRACK
The City Council issued the building permit for the construction of the shooting range at the ENIRA (Center for State Police Operational Practices) and the Sánchez government did not do so.
RAILWAY BRANCH
Promise of the connection of the Linares-Vadollano railway branch. The Junta has fulfilled its part with the Vías beach project and what depends on ADIF and the Spanish government for the connection have not done so.
PROVINCE OF MALAGA
Benalmádena
Breaches
- The Nueva Torrequebrada halt that only announces its construction in view of the elections and never did
- Do not allow the use and close the access roads to the motorway created for the purpose of improving the point. old kilometer 222 that will reduce traffic congestion in and out of the city
- Closure of Malapesquera beach due to breakwater work, affecting high season and in view of municipal elections.
- New National Police station in Torremolinos, leaving out Benalmádena, which has a historical claim.
- When they wanted to snatch from us from the Sánchez government the savings of the neighbors and that it had the approval of our outgoing socialist mayor.
Estepona
NEED FOR COASTAL DEFENSE WORKS
Coastal defense works, which storm after storm damage infrastructure, remove sand from the beach and endanger the tourism and services sector, engines of the local economy. We have asked the central government to carry out these coastal defense works urgently or, given its negligence, authorize the City Council to carry out these works with municipal funds. We have the resources and the will to do it.
NEW ACCESSES TO THE CITY BY THE A7 HIGHWAY
The city, which has undergone significant development in this decade, only has two highway accesses, making it necessary to build a new entrance and exit to decongest the city and also prevent the residents of Valle del Genal from having to enter to the center of the city to be able to go to the road that connects with that area.
IMPROVEMENT OF COMMUNICATIONS THROUGH THE COASTAL TRAIN
Estepona and the Costa del Sol need to improve connections and communications with Malaga to be a competitive destination and respond to the mobility needs of this tourist area. The Government of Pedro Sánchez has not been willing to develop this much-needed railway infrastructure on the Malaga coast.
Fuengirola
BEACH STABILIZATION PLAN
We need breakwaters to prevent sand loss on our coast. Costas denies them in Fuengirola but he does deny them in municipalities that until now have been governed by the PSOE, such as Benalmádena.
COASTAL TRAIN
Expand the Cercanías Málaga-Fuengirola train line to Marbella and the rest of the coastal municipalities of the Western Costa del Sol.
NATIONAL POLICE STATION
We need a new National Police Station. The current one, which is 40 years old, is manifestly insufficient to meet the current needs of our habitual and floating population.
INCREASE IN PASSAGE FREQUENCIES OF THE COMMUTER TRAIN
We have demanded on numerous occasions more trains in Cercanías train service of the line that connects Fuengirola with Málaga. Currently, the frequency between one service to another is 20 minutes and we have asked that it be reduced to ten minutes. It is a means of transport widely used by our neighbors and visitors, as it connects with the Costa del Sol airport.
ACOUSTIC SCREENS
From the City Council and at the request of the residents of Fuengirola, we have requested permission from the General Directorate of Highways to be able to install acoustic screens on the margins of the A7 motorway as it passes through residential areas of the city. However, they have been denied on several occasions.
Málaga
THE CONSTRUCTION OF SOCIAL HOUSING
Pedro Sánchez has promised to build 10.000 homes in the next municipal mandate, but it has not been specified how these residential developments will be carried out. The Government owns land in the Buenavista area with capacity for around 1.300 social housing, but this project has been stopped for a long time.
THE CATHEDRAL OF MÁLAGA AND THE NEW ROOF
Pedro Sánchez did not mention the status of this project during his visit to Malaga. However, the PP of Malaga through its platform has launched a campaign of cooperation and donations to keep this building in the best conditions.
RENFE
The Bobadilla-Algeciras Railway was identified as an element to be modernized in the Strategic Infrastructure and Transportation Plan. However, instead of a complete upgrade to adapt it to high speed, it was decided to simply revamp and electrify the existing line. This modernization, originally planned for 2020, is expected to be completed in 2023.
The project was divided into two phases: Antequera-Ronda and Ronda Algeciras.
For the first section, Antequera-Ronda, two studies were proposed to modernize the line. However, the idea of a high-speed line was scrapped in 2012. The platform and track renovation is expected to be completed in 2020, with electrification in 2021.
The second section, Ronda-Algeciras, crossed an area with complicated orography and protected areas under the figure of a natural park. Here it was decided to adapt the existing track to high speed, with a project speed of 160 km/h. The recovery of a branch to La Línea de la Concepción is also planned, mainly for freight traffic.
The modernization is expected to reduce travel times significantly. Once finished, the trip between Antequera and Ronda will last 45 minutes instead of the current 20, and the time lost in changing gauge and locomotive in Antequera will be avoided.
Santa Ana. The completion of the works has been delayed until 2023.
Currently there is only the master plan announced in January 2023 and only brief investments in maintenance and management of the line.
Regarding the extension of the Cercanías line from Fuengirola to Marbella and Estepona (Costa del Sol Corridor/Tren Litoral), no significant movements have been made in this project, and no studies have been carried out to consolidate the government's commitment to this infrastructure. This infrastructure is the main demand for mobility in the province, since it is a project that dates back to the 2000s with the main idea of uniting the entire Mediterranean arc of the province of Malaga. This infrastructure is expected to be used by more than 100 million people a year.
The PP Government presented the first phase of the informative study in February 2018, announced that the geotechnical studies were being carried out and announced that the resulting options would be released to public information at the beginning of that summer. The arrival of the PSOE to the Government has only meant that the project has been left without a budget.
The Government of Rajoy allocated €6,9 million to the coastal train in 3 years, from 2015 to 2018. This includes 18.000 euros for the Initial Environmental Document and more than 120.000 euros for the Formative Study. The Government of Sánchez has allocated just 5 euros in 507.800 years: 13 times less.
Gone are the promises of Chaves and Griñán since 1999 and the requests that the socialist deputy Miguel Ángel Heredia raised about a high-performance train from Estepona to Nerja.
As for the Cercanías al PTA, more than 20.000 people access the Technological Park of Andalusia, in addition to the residents of Campanillas, which put this need on the table. The first and only major boost given to the project to date dates from the 2016 state accounts, when the PP government directly allocated 1,2 million euros for this connection.
Finally, the burying of the Port train, with the corresponding studies to adapt it to the new regulations already carried out, is not advancing on the part of the Government of Sánchez either. The PP has requested that it be included within the project of European reconstruction funds Next Generation, as a productive investment. It proposes to bury a section of about 700 linear meters, which would mean an investment of around 45 million euros. This work would allow the arrival of up to twelve daily trains for the entry of goods, with the consequent economic impact for the city and the province.
THE NORTH ACCESS TO THE AIRPORT
Despite the fact that the works were awarded in March 2018, the Government decided to review the initial project and re-tender its wording. This process has been ongoing for about two years. Awarded the tender for the newsroom in March 2022, therefore delaying the progress of this infrastructure for four years.
OCEANOGRAPHIC CENTER OF MALAGA
This center was completed in June 2021, but has not yet opened its doors.
CONVENT OF SAN AUGUSTINE
The Government has supported the transformation of this convent into the State Public Library. Work on the building began in early 2022 and is expected to be completed by the end of 2025.
The Government of Rajoy addressed the archaeological tastings, obtained the approval of the Board and the rehabilitation project of the building was missing. After the motion of censure, in the summer of 2018, the Sánchez Executive stopped this project and announced a new one. In December 2020, he put out to tender the works worth 19,3 million euros. In February 2021, a court provisionally suspended the contest for the reform of the convent, after the appeal of the National Construction Confederation.
BOARDWALKS OF EL PALO AND PEDREGALEJO
The PP is committed to building these infrastructures, as it did with the Poniente and its expansion. In February 2020, the Government responded to the PP that it will not carry out any reforms on the promenades of El Palo, Pedregalejo and Guadalmar and Rincón de la Victoria. Despite the fact that the PSOE requested it when it was in opposition, the Sánchez Executive ruled it out, in the same way that the previous Socialist Board left this project out despite having agreed to its execution with the City Council.
Marbella
THE CONSTRUCTION OF PIES, IN A DRAWER
The Government of Pedro Sánchez has paralyzed the stabilization projects for the beaches of Marbella and San Pedro Alcántara, which include the construction of breakwaters to stop the serious deterioration of the coastline every time there are storms, since it became President. In all these years they have not prepared the environmental impact report that allows the processing and execution of these works, essential for the beaches of Marbella and San Pedro.
SÁNCHEZ WANTS TO DEMOLISH THE PROMENADE
The Government of Pedro Sánchez intends to demolish a section of the Paseo Marítimo in Marbella, an emblematic space built 30 years ago. The measure contemplates the demolition of more than 1.500 meters and would also affect more than 2.100 square meters of residential land and nearly 1.300 square meters of hotel and restaurant land. The City Council raised allegations to the project that have not been resolved, but Costas has already started the procedures and businesses and individuals have received notifications of opening the files to determine the rights of occupation. In addition, on May 30, 48 hours after the results of the local elections were known, the Government of Sánchez sent a request to the City Council to remove an emergency breakwater that was carried out in the spring of 2022 so that it would not collapse. another section of the Paseo Marítimo as a result of a storm. Costas gives the City Council 30 days to demolish the breakwater (in the middle of the tourist season) or they will carry out the demolition on a subsidiary basis, despite the risk of the Paseo Marítimo falling.
WIND FARM OFF THE COAST
The Government of Pedro Sánchez does not build the breakwaters, something that is claims from 2021 by businessmen and residents, intends to demolish the Paseo Marítimo and, in addition, has approved the creation off the coast of Marbella of a maritime wind farm, a private initiative which contemplates the installation of at least 55 wind turbines with a height of 240 meters, with an occupation of 310 kilometers in length, which would be equivalent to an area of more than 50 mined soccer fields with 80-story buildings.
The damage to the marine habitat, the fauna and flora of the Alboran Sea, the fishing sector and the tourist image of Marbella is incalculable.
SÁNCHEZ KEEPS THE STOLEN IN MARBELLA
The Government of Pedro Sánchez refuses year after year to include in the General State Budget the provision that the latest accounts of the Executive of Mariano Rajoy did include and that allows an agreement to be signed so that the money from the fines derived from the convictions of cases of municipal corruption with a final sentence ('Malaya', 'Looting'…) I returned to Marbella. Around 10 million euros corresponding to these fines is still in the hands of the central government of the PSOE. Sánchez jams Marbella.
THE GOVERNMENT OF PEDRO SÁNCHEZ KEEPS PARALYZED THE PROJECTS THAT MARBELLA NEEDS URGENTLY TO ALLeviate MOBILITY PROBLEMS
It has not wanted to carry out the third lane project between Puerto Banús and San Pedro Alcántara or the improvement works in the accesses of the Las Chapas area. In addition, it does not liberalize the AP7 motorway even in high season, when the most expensive toll in Spain is also paid.

HEAVY TRAFFIC DIVERSION BY A7P
The A7, old 340, loses thousands of hours in traffic jams, in addition to accidents, while the A7p has a 15% utilization rate. The highway law allows heavy traffic to be diverted (free of charge) in such cases. The city council unanimously requested it in 2019.
LACK OF SECURITY
Mijas does not have a National Police, but only a civil guard, 150 members for a registered population of 90.000, and tens of thousands of foreigners without registration. We need a captaincy, with more members, and expansion of the administrative services of the Fuengirola police, or our own
A7 UNDERGROUND AS IT PASSES THROUGH LAS LAGUNAS (NEXT TO FUENGIROLA)
There are thousands of people living around this area (crossing the A7 with the Fuengirola-Mijas highway). It is a case similar to the crossing of San Pedro de Alcántara (Marbella).

ABANDONMENT OF THE BENGALBON TOWER PROMENADE
Total abandonment of the Torre de Benagalbón promenade project. A project drafted by the Ayto and approved by the residents that the Central Government has kept in a drawer.
IT DOES NOT ANSWER THE PROBLEM OF THE DYNAMICS OF THE COASTLINE
Inaction on the problem of the dynamics of the coastline on the beaches of Rincón. They do NOT provide solutions to the damage caused by storms. Meetings have been held and solutions proposed. With the storms, the beaches are lost in different areas of the municipality.

BEACH STABILIZATION
We need a definitive stabilization plan for the beaches of Mezquitilla, Torre del Mar, Valle Niza and Chilches.
EXIT FROM THE A7 AT THE HEIGHT OF BENAJARAFE
There are many buildings in Alto Benajarafe and an exit is necessary to improve access to the area, which only has the urban section of the old national 340.
