During your speech, Feijóo has announced that the autonomous communities where the Popular Party governs have reached an agreement to extend the Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) vaccination coverage. As explained, measures have been implemented to immunize residents of nursing homes, transplant patients and people with cancer, in an effort to address the needs of the most vulnerable.
“From the Popular Party, we have solved problems that the Sánchez Government has not reached. With this agreement, we have reinforced the protection of the most vulnerable and We have offered concrete answers", Feijóo said.

The popular leader has also criticised the management of the central Executive, stating that "there is no need to look for votes under stones or negotiate them in Switzerland." According to Feijóo, the Popular Party has registered proposals that benefit pensioners and families, such as increasing pensions and transport bonuses.
For its part, Juanma Moreno stressed that Andalusia has led the implementation of public health measures, stating that “we have made progress towards one of the most complete vaccination schedules in Spain.” The president of the Popular Party of Andalusia has also mentioned that the region has incorporated vaccines such as the 13-valent pneumococcal vaccine for those over 65 years of age and has been a pioneer in the Childhood vaccination against influenza and RSV.
"The proposal presented by Alberto Núñez Feijóo has been a further step in our strategy to protect the elderly and the most vulnerable. Andalusia has been at the forefront, and we will continue to work along these lines," Moreno said.
Andalusia strengthens resources for the elderly and dependents
In terms of social care, Moreno recalled that since 2019 his Government has created more than 4.550 places for the elderly and people with disabilities, increasing funding for these by 21% to 24%. He also stressed that 134 million euros have been allocated to the construction and improvement of residential and day centres, benefiting more than 106 projects throughout Andalusia.

“We have given a decisive boost to the care of our elderly and vulnerable people. Although we know that there are always things left to do, we have shown that with management and commitment we can cover many needs," Moreno explained.
Antonio Repullo, general secretary of the PP in Andalusia, has reaffirmed the Party's commitment to seniors, highlighting the fight against loneliness and the improvement in the quality of services. “We have made progress in caring for the most vulnerable, offering more places and better services, as well as reinforcing vaccination to protect them,” said Repullo.
