  • The general secretary of the PP of Andalusia assures that “Europe now sees Andalusia with admiration” thanks to the extraordinary transformation it has experienced with the Government of Juanma Moreno and the mayors and presidents of the provincial councils who work every day to respond to the needs of all Andalusians
  • He says that the future of Andalusians is in Europe, where we must work for the needs of the countryside, the climatic uniqueness of our land and for sufficient European funds to continue creating employment, opportunities for our young people and an equal society."

The general secretary of the Popular Party of Andalusia, Antonio Repullo, stated this Friday from Malaga that on June 9, the day of the elections to the European Parliament, “We Andalusians are facing an unprecedented opportunity in our history": bring Juanma Moreno's Vía Andaluza to Europe so that our voice is heard clearly and defend ourselves from Sánchez's grievances."

"Now Europe sees Andalusia with admiration", he stated, recalling that "Margaritis Schinas, vice president of the European Commission, told us this when he stated that "Before Andalusia was known in Europe for its problems, now for its achievements". In his opinion, this change in Andalusia's reputation in Brussels "is not a coincidence", it is the result of "a lot of work, of that Andalusian path that our president and his team, and all our mayors and presidents of provincial councils in Andalusia. They deal with problems and They work daily to meet the needs of all Andalusian women and men.".

Repullo, campaign director of the PP of Andalusia, says that “The future of Andalusians is in Europe, in bringing the needs of Andalusia to Brussels” such as “the claims of our rural world to solve their problems and ensure their future; the need for our climatic uniqueness to be understood and the necessary means to be provided to manage our need for water, and for our young people to continue to have opportunities for the future.”

Furthermore, it bets on “support ourselves in Europe to continue creating an equal society, where Andalusian women are protagonists, and fight for European funds to help us continue creating jobs and opportunities, also improving public services".

“For this, in the Popular Party of Andalusia we have the best candidates", he stressed, highlighting "Carmen Crespo, a person closely linked to that Andalusian road and to the management of our president Juanma Moreno, is number two in the Popular Party's candidacy for these European elections." “They accompany him Juan Ignacio Zoido, a person with a lot of experience and a lot of value within the political field, and also a person who has a very extensive knowledge such as María José Molina, from Jaén, a woman from Jaén who is also in a very prominent position in that candidacy”. “That is the team that is going to bring the voice of the 'Andalusian way' to Europe.”

Málaga, example of progress with Juanma Moreno despite Sánchez's grievances

During an appearance before the media in Malaga accompanied by the provincial president of the PP in this province, Antonio Repullo commented that “The people of Malaga who listen to us today know that their land is advancing more and better., which has more jobs, more opportunities”, thanks to the management of the Popular Party in many of its town councils, in the Provincial Council and for five years in the Junta de Andalucía.

However, he warns that “they also know that Sánchez does not respond to their interests”. The general secretary of the PP of Andalusia has insisted that “These elections must serve to put an end to Sánchez's permanent grievances throughout Andalusia. and especially in Malaga, a province with an unstoppable projection

and that it does not have the help of the Sánchez Government.” And he has referred, as an example, to the coastal train “which seems to be not necessary, when It is very important for economic development and fundamentally for social development", so that the people of Malaga, for those who come from outside of Malaga, have a connection in a territory as important as the Costa del Sol, with that connection with the Campo de Gibraltar."

“It is an essential project,” he remarks, “just like It is an essential project, those water infrastructures that Axarquía needs so much., also a very important part of the province of Malaga.”

In that sense, he pointed out that “Europe must support Andalusia with economic resources to continue the necessary water works”. “The Board has invested a lot,” he points out, “but more funds are needed. "It is essential that Europe acts, since Sánchez does not comply with his powers."

"That is the result of the blackout that Pedro Sánchez has made with this province that is so important for the economic development of Andalusia,” he says. And for this reason, he has appealed to the entire Andalusian society to participate in the event that the Popular Party will hold at 11:00 a.m. next Sunday in the Plaza de la Constitución in Malaga.

“We encourage you to come, to listen to us, to contribute your interests and your intentions, to From the Popular Party we will always be listening with active listening, which in some way is the essence of the way of working and the way of doing things of this party in Andalusia,” Repullo concluded.
