Repullo: "Espadas continues to defend the ERE model that stole from the Andalusians, I'm sure they would do it again"

• The general secretary of the Andalusian PP, Antonio Repullo, described yesterday's statements by Juan Espadas regarding the Supreme Court ruling as “abnormal”.
• "The ruling determines the unmitigated guilt of two former presidents and numerous senior officials who were companions of Espadas"
• "It is not a political sentence, but a sentence that blames politicians from the socialist party"
• "Espadas does not say anything about the other convicts or why Susana Díaz withdrew the accusation from the Board to protect her companions"
• "If they continue without asking for forgiveness, they expose the form of government that the socialist party wants"

The general secretary of the Popular Party of Andalusia, Antonio Repullo, this morning regretted the statements by Juan Espadas about the ERE sentence, which he called them "aberrational" and assured that with his words the leader of Andalusian socialism "continues to defend the ERE model" and he was convinced that "they would do it again".

At a press conference in Seville, he criticized the fact that Espadas had questioned a ruling by the Supreme Court in which "the five speakers come to confirm what the Provincial Court of Seville had already said", that the socialist party "had created a patronage network to stay in power for years and years.

Repullo stressed that the decision of the TS determines "guilt without palliatives and anyone knows this, even if they do not have legal knowledge." "It is a ruling that determines the guilt of two presidents of the Junta de Andalucía who have been companions of Espadas, just like many other convicts were."

The general secretary also stressed that "we are not facing a political sentence, but rather a sentence that blames politicians from the socialist party", and added: "From socialist politicians who dedicated themselves to robbing the Andalusians in something as important as the unemployment".

For this reason, he considered Espadas' statements as "abnormal" because after listening to them "both he and the PSOE still do not regret it, so we can conclude that they continue to defend that management model that stole from the Andalusians, and that is the model of government that want so much Swords for socialism”.

The popular leader also asked why Espadas “doesn't say anything about the rest of the convicts; he does not say anything about the plug-ins that the PSOE used to do politics and pay to win elections by tampering with the electoral system; It does not say anything about the reptile fund with which they gave salaries for life without having been in any company, and it does not say anything about why Susana Díaz withdrew the accusation from the Junta de Andalucía to protect her fellow socialists who had participated in this looting ” .

For all these reasons, Repullo urged Espadas to openly request a pardon for Griñán "immediately if he is so confident in his honor and innocence, as well as in the management of the socialist party."

In the same sense, he rejected that socialism "continue without apologizing", and that happens "because they have not repented", a fact that "leaves bare" what is the way of working that the socialist party has".

Regarding this week's plenary session, Repullo wanted to highlight "the patent dialogue" that has been seen during the two days by both the Andalusian Government and the Popular Parliamentary Group in supporting initiatives of the socialist party. "This is nothing more than a reflection of the guidelines of President Juanma Moreno, that this legislature is going to be charged with dialogue with all political groups," for which he once again urged the socialist party to "start working, think about the Andalusians and stop being a delegation of the Government of Pedro Sánchez”.

Thus, he remarked that with a sufficient majority it is also possible "to govern with dialogue without the need to apply the roller that was applied here in past legislatures," he concluded.
