People's Party of Andalusia

Repullo: "With Juanma Moreno, Linares and Andalusia once again have a clear industrial and economic horizon, despite the PSOE's withdrawal."

Linares industrialization
The Secretary General of the People's Party (PP) in Andalusia, Antonio Repullo, highlighted in Linares the commitment of Juanma Moreno's government to the reindustrialization and economic development of Jaén, in contrast to the lack of support from Pedro Sánchez's administration. He emphasized that, while the Andalusian government attracts investment and creates jobs, the central government is still pending key infrastructure projects for the growth of Linares. Thanks to the PP's commitment, Andalusia will mobilize more than 1.800 billion euros in industrial investments until 2027, consolidating the region as an economic engine and generator of opportunities for Andalusian families.

“There is no place in Andalusia, no municipality in Andalusia where the reindustrialization is seen in an exponential way, such as the province of Jaén and, specifically, the municipality of Linares." This was stated this Tuesday from this city in Jaén by the general secretary of the PP of Andalusia, Antonio Repullo.

"A municipality that has never given up, a municipality that has been badly affected and has had serious problems, but despite that, an enterprising municipality, a municipality that has always looked to the future and has always seen the future as an opportunity to improve," he said.

A municipality that now, with its mayor, Auxi Del Olmo, and her team of councilors, is transforming and managing to leave those difficult times behind.

He recalled that one of those moments came with the closure of Santana Motor. What for decades had been a model of development and a source of employment for Linares and the entire province of Jaén was forced to close in 2011.

As he said, “The PSOE not only let Santana Motor fail, but, after its closure, it condemned Linares to oblivion. It did nothing, not one restructuring plan for the region's industrial companies, not a single movement.Paralysis was the only response this society had, having suffered so much, to the point where many families were left without jobs and without a future.

But that has changed, thanks to a different approach to politics, adopted by the President of Andalusia, Juanma Moreno, and his government, with the tireless support of the Linares City Council.Today, fortunately, things have changed."He stated, emphasizing that "with Juanma Moreno, Linares once again has a clear industrial and economic horizon. Not with words, but with actions."

In this regard, Antonio Repullo has argued that "the Santana Business Park now presents an abysmal difference."We meet with companies that want to support a very important hub, such as transportation and automation, where the defense industry sector will play an essential role in the coming years.A multitude of national and international companies will be present in this business park. "Companies like Evolutio, Desay, HRC, and Coronet have chosen Linares because they see a government here that generates trust and stability," he emphasized.

"And that is the big difference, the two ways of doing things, the way of the Popular Party governments and the absolute inactivity of the Sánchez government and the socialist governments that came from the past.”, he pointed out.

In addition to the investments, the secretary general of the Andalusian People's Party (PP) also praised the promotion of "dual vocational training so that these companies have sufficient talent to be able to project themselves into the future, providing more opportunities for our young people, the city of Jaén, the city of Linares, the entire region, and the entire province of Jaén."

The Sánchez government is the biggest obstacle to Andalusia's development.

"And all this, despite the management of Pedro Sánchez, a Central Government that is not betting on Andalusia and that is not betting on Jaén", he stated, before demanding that "we need railway infrastructure, which is essential for this industry to develop, which connects us to Madrid and to the eastern part of our country."

Likewise, Repullo has claimed another fundamental need for the development of the industry, such as "electrical infrastructures"He said that the province of Jaén has the least electrical infrastructure in all of Spain, and it's essential to reverse this situation so that the industry has a future in this area."

This is the great contrast: “The PSOE closed factories, we're opening them. The PSOE destroyed jobs, we're creating opportunities.Antonio Repullo expressed his conviction that “María Jesús Montero wants to return to this model of complacency, of abandonment, of docility,” but he warns that “Andalusia wants something else; it's clear that it wants something else.”

Montero is a politician who is sitting back, but Andalusia wants opportunities.

"We don't want to return to the past, we don't want that kind of politics of sitting back, of failing to address the challenges that may arise in the present and future of Andalusia. This is the policy that Pedro Sánchez represents and that María Jesús Montero wants to bring to Andalusia."

Along these lines, the PP of Andalusia is committed to “Accept these challenges, fight them, struggle and make the future, the future and the progress of Andalusia, the progress that has to affect the families of Linares, the families of Jaén, the families of Andalusia, a reality.".

And this is what the Secretary General of the Andalusian People's Party (PP) and member of the Andalusian Parliament will defend next Thursday, during his defense of a Non-Law Proposal for the industrialization of Andalusia. This initiative will highlight that Andalusia will mobilize more than €1.800 billion in industrial investments through 2027, more than 165% more than the commitment made by the Socialist governments, and which will generate nearly 68.000 jobs in our region.

Figures that show that Andalusia now has a government, that of the People's Party (PP), led by Juanma Moreno, that truly believes in Andalusian industry as a generator of employment and wealth."

The PP is betting on Jaén with facts

For her part, the general secretary of the PP in Linares and mayor of the municipality, Auxi Del Olmo, thanked the government of Juanma Moreno and the Andalusian Popular Party for choosing Linares, once again, as a focus for reindustrialization. The Santana Business Park is a huge testament to how this municipal government team, led by the president of the Board, is revitalizing our city.".

Finally, the provincial president of the Jaén People's Party (PP), Erik Domínguez, said that the resurgence of Linares is being made possible by the combination of changes in the Andalusian and city governments, "and it is faithfully reflected in Santana." It took the People's Party to make the transfer of the land to the City Council possible, first of all.a historic demand that marked a before and after”, to gradually achieve his recovery.

According to Domínguez, in Linares “We have the greatest example of what the abandonment of a PSOE Government was, which forced an entire population to accept the closure of Santana, the loss of jobs, being the city with the highest unemployment in Spain and economic bankruptcy. However, Juanma Moreno focused on Linares, with significant investments, attracting large companies, and now the PNL "confirms to us that this government is fully committed to Linares, now serving as an example of how to do things right."
